LANGKAWI, Dec 3 (Bernama) -- Premier aerospace and defence group National Aerospace & Defence Industries Sdn Bhd (Nadi) is the country's largest exhibitor at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2007.
The group and its subsidiary companies, which have taken up more than 600 sq m of exhibition space, are showcasing their wide-ranging aerospace related products and services for both local and international markets.
"LIMA 2007 not only offers the group an opportunity to enhance awareness of our capabilites and track record but also enables us to position ourselves as a player that meets the highest international standards and practices," Nadi's organising committee chairman for LIMA 2007, Brig Gen (Rtd) Datuk Abdul Rahim Abdul Rahman, said.
He was speaking to reporters at the media walkabout of the exhibition booths at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (Aerospace Division).
LIMA 2007, from tomorrow to Saturday, sees the group participating for the ninth consecutive time, with subsidiaries present including Airod Sdn Bhd, SME Ordnance Sdn Bhd and SME Aerospace Sdn Bhd.
Nadi's key clients include the Royal Malaysian Air Force, Malaysian Army, Royal Malaysian Navy, Department of Civil Aviation, the air forces of Yemen, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand, GKN Aerospace Services-Structures (UK) and BAE Systems Ltd.
